Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Côtes Rocheuses by Jean Le Moal for EUR 12,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Art Contemporain Day Sale at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 13,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jean Le Moal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Port in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 69,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Côtes Rocheuses von Jean Le Moal für EUR 12.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 13.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Le Moal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Port im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 69.850,00.
