Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction IMPORTANT OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work Portrait of the marquise de Grécourt, née de la Fresnaye, in a red velvet dress with a white chiffon scarf by Jean Laurent Mosnier. The price achieved of GBP 57,600.00 (€ 83,603.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Jean Laurent Mosnier have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2014 the work Portrait Of Arkady Alexandrovich Suvorov (1784-1811) was auctioned for GBP 108,100.00 (€ 135,065.78).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 57.600,00 (€ 83.603,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden.
