In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II, which included the work Portrait Of Princess Clothilde, Later Queen Of Sardinia (1759-1802) by Jean Laurent Mosnier. The auction ended at the price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,587.60), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Laurent Mosnier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Arkady Alexandrovich Suvorov (1784-1811) in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 108,100.00 (€ 135,065.78).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Princess Clothilde, Later Queen Of Sardinia (1759-1802) von Jean Laurent Mosnier zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.587,60) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Laurent Mosnier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Arkady Alexandrovich Suvorov (1784-1811) im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.100,00 (€ 135.065,78).
