This price was achieved in the auction Arts of France at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jean Laurent Mosnier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Arkady Alexandrovich Suvorov (1784-1811) in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 108,100.00 (€ 135,065.78).
