Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition no. 124 by Jean Gorin was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Gorin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rythmes Statiques Ou Composition N°25 - 1945 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 48,544.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition no. 124 von Jean Gorin kam im Dezember 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 10.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Gorin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rythmes Statiques Ou Composition N°25 - 1945 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 48.544,00.
