Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nice-Beuil by Jean-Gabriel Domergue was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in June last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,295.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Gabriel Domergue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les danseuses de French Cancan in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 164,500.00 (€ 129,588.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nice-Beuil von Jean-Gabriel Domergue kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.295,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Gabriel Domergue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les danseuses de French Cancan im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 164.500,00 (€ 129.588,78).
