Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion, which included the work La gardeuse d'oies by Jean-François Millet. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 32,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-François Millet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Horizon (La plaine) in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 1,985,000.00 (€ 1,584,197.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion durch, in der auch die Arbeit La gardeuse d'oies von Jean-François Millet zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 32.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-François Millet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Horizon (La plaine) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.985.000,00 (€ 1.584.197,92).
