A top price for Jean Duvet
In July 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Prints, which included the work Saints Sebastian, Anthony, and Roch (B. 10; Bersier 48; Eisler 70) by Jean Duvet. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 46,850.00 (€ 53,767.38), 34% above the upper estimate. With this result, Saints Sebastian, Anthony, and Roch (B. 10; Bersier 48; Eisler 70) is even the most expensive work of art by Jean Duvet that we have observed at auctions so far.
