The work Suite rose-noir (XV) by Jean Degottex was worth EUR 137,500.00 to a buyer in December 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Post War & Contemporary Art at Christies in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jean Degottex; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ouest - 1959 sold at auction in December 2021 with the realized price of EUR 188,500.00.
