Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean Cortot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in February 2021. In the Jean Cortot auction, the work Sans Titre sold for EUR 8,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Cortot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Éloge de Pierre-Jean Jouve in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 71,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Cortot erzielte im Februar 2021 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Jean Cortot wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre für EUR 8.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Cortot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Éloge de Pierre-Jean Jouve im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 71.100,00.
