The work Eros by Jean Cortot was sold in the Jean Cortot auction at Christies in Paris in February 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 3,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Cortot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Éloge de Pierre-Jean Jouve in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 71,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Eros von Jean Cortot wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Jean Cortot bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Cortot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Éloge de Pierre-Jean Jouve im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 71.100,00.
