It achieved a price of EUR 5,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Cortot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Éloge de Pierre-Jean Jouve in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 71,100.00.

Die Arbeit C'Est Un Officier Des Hussards… von Jean Cortot kam im Februar 2021 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 5.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Cortot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Éloge de Pierre-Jean Jouve im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 71.100,00.
