A top price for Jean-Claude Novaro - as previously expected
In February 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre, 1993 by Jean-Claude Novaro. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,487.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sans Titre, 1993 is the most expensive artwork by Jean-Claude Novaro that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Februar 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1993 von Jean-Claude Novaro zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.487,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sans Titre, 1993 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jean-Claude Novaro, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
