Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French castell Dell'Ovo, Naples by Jean-Charles-Joseph Rémond was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2010. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,676.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Charles-Joseph Rémond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Death Of Captain Cook in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 62,500.00.
