Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Masters Online, which included the work The Terrace Of The Villa Melzi, Overlooking Lake Como by Jean-Charles-Joseph Rémond. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,337.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Charles-Joseph Rémond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Death Of Captain Cook in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 62,500.00.

Im Februar 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Masters Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Terrace Of The Villa Melzi, Overlooking Lake Como von Jean-Charles-Joseph Rémond zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.337,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
