Upper estimate price exceeded by 49 %.
In March last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work La Petite Tete - 1982 by Jean-Charles Blais. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,230.00 49% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Charles Blais achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Loin vite in May this year with an auction result of EUR 35,280.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Petite Tete - 1982 von Jean-Charles Blais zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.230,00 und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Charles Blais erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Loin vite im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.280,00.
