Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work FÊTES DE PARIS by Jean Carlu for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,643.73). This price was achieved in the auction Posters at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jean Carlu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aquarium De Monaco, Museé Océanographique in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,691.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit FÊTES DE PARIS von Jean Carlu für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.643,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Posters bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Carlu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aquarium De Monaco, Museé Océanographique im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.691,56).
