Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2012 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art - Australian Aboriginal Art, which included the work L'Atelier, 1990-91 by Jean Bertholle. The price achieved of EUR 1,802.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Bertholle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Neon - 1958 in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 11,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art - Australian Aboriginal Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Atelier, 1990-91 von Jean Bertholle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.802,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Bertholle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Neon - 1958 im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.700,00.
