Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2012 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art - Australian Aboriginal Art, which included the work Composition Aux Objets, 1989 by Jean Bertholle. The price achieved of EUR 901.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Bertholle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Neon - 1958 in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 11,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art - Australian Aboriginal Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition Aux Objets, 1989 von Jean Bertholle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 901,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Bertholle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Neon - 1958 im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.700,00.
