Upper estimate price exceeded by 50 %.
In December 2019 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Day Sale, which included the work Paysage by Jean Bazaine. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Bazaine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pierres, Arbres Et Plaine in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 105,850.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage von Jean Bazaine zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Bazaine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pierres, Arbres Et Plaine im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 105.850,00.
