Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean Bazaine achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work 1er mars - 1954 sold for EUR 6,560.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Bazaine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pierres, Arbres Et Plaine in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 105,850.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Bazaine erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit 1er mars - 1954 für EUR 6.560,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Bazaine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pierres, Arbres Et Plaine im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 105.850,00.
