Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2004 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Pilgrims at Dusk by Jean Baptiste Paul Lazerges. The price achieved of GBP 4,780.00 (€ 6,765.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Baptiste Paul Lazerges - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Camel Train By Moonlight, which sold at auction in June 2020 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,156.51).

Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pilgrims at Dusk von Jean Baptiste Paul Lazerges zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.780,00 (€ 6.765,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
