This artwork by Jean-Baptiste Lallemand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June 2021. In the Old Master & 19th century Art auction, the work Littoral Animé De Personnages Au Levant Et Littoral Animé De Personnages Au Couchant sold for EUR 29,900.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Baptiste Lallemand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishermen and courtesans in a Mediterranean port at sunset; and Fishermen and Turkish merchants in a Mediterrenean port atsunrise, which sold at auction in May 2005 for USD 102,000.00 (€ 82,597.78).

Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Lallemand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fishermen and courtesans in a Mediterranean port at sunset; and Fishermen and Turkish merchants in a Mediterrenean port atsunrise beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für USD 102.000,00 (€ 82.597,78) versteigert wurde.
