Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Figures On The Shore Before Rabat, Morocco by Jean-Baptiste-Henri Durand-Brager. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,376.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Baptiste-Henri Durand-Brager - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eastern Harbour, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,212.82).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.376,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
