Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work Le Bosphore by Jean-Baptiste-Henri Durand-Brager. The price achieved of EUR 2,338.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Baptiste-Henri Durand-Brager have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eastern Harbour in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,212.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Bosphore von Jean-Baptiste-Henri Durand-Brager zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.338,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste-Henri Durand-Brager auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eastern Harbour im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.212,82).
