Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Artcurial held the auction Prints & Illustrated Books, which included the work Composition - 1972 by Jean Gorin. It changed hands for a price of EUR 455.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Gorin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rythmes Statiques Ou Composition N°25 - 1945 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 48,544.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Prints & Illustrated Books durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition - 1972 von Jean Gorin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 455,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Gorin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rythmes Statiques Ou Composition N°25 - 1945 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 48.544,00.
