In December 2015 Artcurial held the auction Prints & Illustrated Books, which included the work Composition - 1972 by Jean Gorin. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 650.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Gorin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rythmes Statiques Ou Composition N°25 - 1945 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 48,544.00.

Im Dezember 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Prints & Illustrated Books durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition - 1972 von Jean Gorin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 650,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Gorin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rythmes Statiques Ou Composition N°25 - 1945 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 48.544,00.
