Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary East, which included the work Azerbaijani hurricane by Javad Mirjavadov. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,252.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Javad Mirjavadov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Voyage To Mecca, From The Eastern Miniature Improvisations Series in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 92,500.00 (€ 111,311.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Azerbaijani hurricane von Javad Mirjavadov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.252,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Javad Mirjavadov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Voyage To Mecca, From The Eastern Miniature Improvisations Series im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 92.500,00 (€ 111.311,37).
