Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Tropical bird by Janus de Winter. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,440.00 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Janus de Winter have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of NLG 5,616.96 (€ 2,389.58) in March 2000 for the work A winter landscape with a farmhouse on the brink of the woods.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tropical bird von Janus de Winter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.440,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Janus de Winter haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von NLG 5.616,96 (€ 2.389,58) im März 2000 für die Arbeit A winter landscape with a farmhouse on the brink of the woods beobachtet.
