Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Janetta Susan Gillespie could be acquired at Sothebys in London in August 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Scottish and Sporting Pictures auction, the work Still Life On A Silver Tray changed hands for GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,321.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Janetta Susan Gillespie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Silver Tray, which sold at auction in August 2008 for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,175.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Janetta Susan Gillespie konnte im August 2007 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Scottish and Sporting Pictures wechselte die Arbeit Still Life On A Silver Tray für GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.321,75) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00.
