The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,169.96), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jane Wilson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Long Afternoon sold at auction in March 2017 with the realized price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 14,021.31).
