Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Summer Landscape by Jane-Simone Bussy was sold in the 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in December 2000. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 587.50 (€ 935.88), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jane-Simone Bussy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plums and Peaches in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 4,182.50 (€ 6,004.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Summer Landscape von Jane-Simone Bussy wurde im Dezember 2000 in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 587,50 (€ 935,88) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jane-Simone Bussy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plums and Peaches im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.182,50 (€ 6.004,04).
