The work By the fire by Jan Zoetelief Tromp was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2013. It achieved a price of EUR 7,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Zoetelief Tromp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Sunday walk in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 345,000.00 (€ 158,348.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit By the fire von Jan Zoetelief Tromp kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Zoetelief Tromp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Sunday walk im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 345.000,00 (€ 158.348,55).
