Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The swing by Jan Zoetelief Tromp was sold in the Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Zoetelief Tromp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Sunday walk in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 345,000.00 (€ 158,348.55).

Die Arbeit The swing von Jan Zoetelief Tromp wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Zoetelief Tromp erzielen.
