Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coming Home From The Field by Jan Zoetelief Tromp was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in January 2016. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,910.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Zoetelief Tromp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Sunday walk in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 345,000.00 (€ 158,348.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Coming Home From The Field von Jan Zoetelief Tromp wurde im Januar 2016 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.910,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Zoetelief Tromp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Sunday walk im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 345.000,00 (€ 158.348,55).
