It achieved a price of EUR 9,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Willem van Borselen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Along the river Vlist in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 120,000.00.

Die Arbeit Cows In A Summer Landscape von Jan Willem van Borselen kam im April 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Willem van Borselen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Along the river Vlist im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 120.000,00.
