Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A farm scene with a woman and child feeding ducks by a stream by Jan Willem van Borselen was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,531.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Willem van Borselen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Along the river Vlist in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 120,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A farm scene with a woman and child feeding ducks by a stream von Jan Willem van Borselen kam im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
