The price achieved of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,874.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Verhas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hide and Seek in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 57,360.00 (€ 58,050.80).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.874,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Verhas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hide and Seek im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 57.360,00 (€ 58.050,80).
