Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 13,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan van Kessel II have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips, peonies, chicory, carnations, cherry blossom and other flowers in a glass vase, with butterflies, a bee and a lizard on a ledge in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 56,440.28).
