Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jan van Huchtenburg could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and British Paintings auction, the work A Cavalry Skirmish changed hands for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,050.58) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van Huchtenburg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work John Churchill, 1St Duke Of Marlborough (1650–1722) And Prince Eugene Of Savoy (1663–1736), On Horseback At The Battle Of Blenheim (Hochstedt) in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 40,582.26).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit John Churchill, 1St Duke Of Marlborough (1650–1722) And Prince Eugene Of Savoy (1663–1736), On Horseback At The Battle Of Blenheim (Hochstedt) im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 40.582,26).
