Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jan van Huchtenburg could be acquired at Sothebys in Amsterdam in September 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work A Cavalry Battle Scene, With A Fallen Horse And Soldier In The Foreground changed hands for EUR 938.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van Huchtenburg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work John Churchill, 1St Duke Of Marlborough (1650–1722) And Prince Eugene Of Savoy (1663–1736), On Horseback At The Battle Of Blenheim (Hochstedt) in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 40,582.26).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit John Churchill, 1St Duke Of Marlborough (1650–1722) And Prince Eugene Of Savoy (1663–1736), On Horseback At The Battle Of Blenheim (Hochstedt) im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 40.582,26).
