Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a lady, three-quarter-length, in a blue dress with a white chemise and a crimson wrap with a dog by her side by Jan van Haensbergen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2008. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan van Haensbergen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Money Changer in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,518.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, three-quarter-length, in a blue dress with a white chemise and a crimson wrap with a dog by her side von Jan van Haensbergen kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan van Haensbergen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Money Changer im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.518,43).
