However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan van der Meer the Younger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shepherds Resting With Their Flock At The Edge Of A Wood, which sold at auction in December 2011 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,233.78).
