This work of art by Jan van Call the Elder could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection auction, the work A Pair Of Rhine Views changed hands for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,564.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. Other works by Jan van Call the Elder have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in July 2013 by the work View Of The Harbour Of Alexandria, Egypt at GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,285.03).
