In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection, which included the work A Caravan With Camels Near A Fortified Town, Possibly Aleppo, In A Hilly Oriental Landscape With Palm Trees by Jan van Call the Elder. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,285.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Caravan With Camels Near A Fortified Town, Possibly Aleppo, In A Hilly Oriental Landscape With Palm Trees is the most expensive artwork by Jan van Call the Elder that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Caravan With Camels Near A Fortified Town, Possibly Aleppo, In A Hilly Oriental Landscape With Palm Trees von Jan van Call the Elder zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.285,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00.
