Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Isabella De Savornin (1666-1728) As Minerva, Standing Three-Quarter Length, Wearing A White Satin Dress With A Red Sash And A Plumed Hat by Jan Tilius was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in May 2010. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Tilius - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A hurdy-gurdy player with an old woman singing and a mocking youth at a casement, which sold at auction in July 2009 for GBP 43,250.00 (€ 49,075.79).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of Isabella De Savornin (1666-1728) As Minerva, Standing Three-Quarter Length, Wearing A White Satin Dress With A Red Sash And A Plumed Hat von Jan Tilius kam im Mai 2010 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
