Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Breakfast by Jan Strube. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Strube have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Brabants Stilleven in June 2006 with an auction result of EUR 15,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Breakfast von Jan Strube zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Strube auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Brabants Stilleven im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.600,00.
