Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The ferry at the Kostverlorenkade, the gassholder of the Westergasfabriek in the background, Amsterdam by Jan Sluijters was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Sluijters achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maannacht III in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 421,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The ferry at the Kostverlorenkade, the gassholder of the Westergasfabriek in the background, Amsterdam von Jan Sluijters kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Sluijters erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maannacht III im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 421.000,00.
