The work Garlands Of Roses, Tulips, Narcissi, Snowdrops, Hyacinths And Convolvulus, With Grapes, Ears Of Corn And Heads Of Maize Above, Surrounding The Host In An Architectural Niche by Jan Philips van Thielen was sold in the Old Masters & British Paintings auction at Christies in London in April 2013. It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,587.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Philips van Thielen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tulips, yellow roses and dog roses in a glass vase on a stone ledge, with a leather pen case and a paper identifying the tulips in May 2003 with an auction result of EUR 296,450.00.
