In January 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS AT THE KUNSTFABRIEK, which included the work Dieudonné by Jan Meijer. The »bidding war« ended at NLG 2,585.00 (€ 1,131.15), 72% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jan Meijer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alaska, 1981-1983 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 8,288.00.

Im Januar 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS AT THE KUNSTFABRIEK durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dieudonné von Jan Meijer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von NLG 2.585,00 (€ 1.131,15) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Meijer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alaska, 1981-1983 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.288,00.
